Head of User Acquisition

Full-time 📍 Remote 💰 from $7000 (depending on your level and experience)

We are looking for a highly skilled Head of User Acquisition specialist who will take on the development of the in-app direction and take a systematic approach to scaling of traffic sources. You will be responsible for optimizing the purchasing strategy, connecting and developing new channels, as well as increasing the efficiency of current sources. This is a great opportunity for an independent specialist with management ambitions. You will be able to not only generate ideas, but also implement them from concept to stable results.

  • $2M+ monthly turnover
  • We purchase Web and In-App for Android and iOS
  • We are planning to launch purchasing via Google / Meta / TikTok
  • Own mobile applications (Android/iOS) with advertising monetization
  • In-house production: scriptwriters, artists, motion designers, landing pages
  • Own anti-fraud systems and auto-bidders — everything is data-driven
  • Plans to automate routine purchasing processes when working with creatives (testing, adding/disabling creatives)
  • Work under founders with 15+ years of experience in the niche who speak your language and support initiative


Your tasks:

  • Formulate the overall development strategy for the UA direction and look for new growth points
  • Build systematic processes for purchasing and testing sources
  • Develop the in-app direction and expand the pool of sources
  • Search for, launch, and scale non-standard traffic channels (TapJoy, Adjoe, MiAds, Kwai, etc.)
  • Analyze current sources, test new ones, and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Quickly understand new traffic sources, evaluate their potential, and promptly implement them
  • Formulate and test purchasing hypotheses, propose new approaches to data analytics, identify anomalies and growth points, track creative performance, and draw conclusions for optimization
  • Interact with creative and analytical teams
  • Manage a team of traffic managers: set tasks, monitor launches and results
  • Effectively manage and optimize large budgets from $2M+/monthly
  • Regularly prepare performance reports, identify trends, and share insights


What we expect from you:

  • You are a confident Head of User Acquisition in the in-app direction
  • You understand the principles of purchasing in various networks (Mintegral, AppLovin, Unity, IronSource, BigoAds, Liftoff, Moloco, Appnext, and others)
  • You know how to adapt strategies for each source, GEO, and audience
  • You have experience working with AppMetrica, Adjust, and Appsflyer
  • You have experience scaling purchases in various sources from scratch
  • Experience working with different monetization models (advertising/hybrid/subscriptions) — with an understanding of how they work and how to develop a plan
  • Openness to constructive feedback, respect for established processes, adherence to deadlines and transparency in reporting, willingness to work in sync with the team


Nice to have:

  • Practical experience in working with/launching non-trivial traffic sources: in-app affiliate programs, DSP, offerwall platforms (TapJoy, Adjoe, MiAds, Kwai, etc.). Skills in testing, evaluating, and scaling such channels
  • Experience in purchasing in Web/Social/Google areas
  • Experience in managing and developing a UA team
